Aric Nagra, CEO and Cofounder

Aric is an incredibly talented soccer player who discovered his love for the sport at the tender age of three. With his amazing skills, he has led countless games to victory with his winning goals. He has participated in piano lessons for years and is an avid chess player. Beyond his personal achievements, Aric has been actively involved in his school’s Club Generation Green, where he dedicates his time to volunteering. Starting from sixth grade, he has been a devoted helper for individuals with disabilities, enabling them to participate in and enjoy various sports. Additionally, Aric volunteers for the United Way, further demonstrating his commitment to making a positive impact on his community. Aric’s passion for learning extends beyond sports and music. He has earned two ribbons for his performances in the Math Olympiad, and he actively participates in Russian math studies. In his pursuit of knowledge, he has also delved into the realms of pottery, painting, and coding. Furthermore, Aric has honed his competitive spirit by participating in various sports at Camp Manitou over the years.

Dylan Nagra, CEO and Cofounder

Dylan has been passionate about soccer since he was just three years old, and his dedication to the sport is truly admirable. In addition to his love for and talent in soccer, he is also a member of both the chess club and math club at school, showcasing his diverse interests and talents. Dylan has been a regular attendee at Camp Manitou, where he has excelled in various sports activities. He has been a participant in the model UN. He has even had the opportunity to take part in a cyber security camp in the past, expanding his knowledge in that area. On top of all this, Dylan has learned how to code. Dylan has volunteered at The United Way and he engages with disabled children through sports activities at the Special Olympics. Additionally, he has served as an umpire and volunteer at the Harvard Sports Complex, providing assistance to disabled tennis players. Dylan has earned multiple math awards, including two silver math Olympiad pins and three math high honor rolls. Furthermore, he received the esteemed George Lenchner award for achieving a perfect score in the Math Olympiad. He has also been recognized with a national honorable ribbon for his performance in the Math Olympiad and has earned two Olympiad Math badges.

Mick Nagra, CEO and Cofounder

Mick has diverse range of talents and accomplishments. Not only is he an enthusiastic chess player, but he has also dedicated time to learning the piano and engaging in various volunteer activities. He has volunteered at The United Way and with the Special Olympics assisting those with special needs to play the sports of their choice. His passion for knowledge extends to the field of cyber security and coding as he has attended a specialized camp in that area. Mick’s artistic side shines through his involvement in painting, pottery, and even Model United Nations. When it comes to academics, Mick’s mathematical prowess is truly outstanding. He has achieved remarkable success in prestigious competitions, such as the Math Kangaroo Competition where he placed 11th nationally in the USA. His exceptional performance in the Math Olympiad earned him the esteemed George Lenchner Award for achieving a perfect score. Mick’s dedication to mathematics is further highlighted by his multiple gold trophies and pins for his outstanding chievements in the National Honor Roll and Sigma Math Competition.

Yasmin Atwal, CEO and Cofounder of Canadian Chapter of Beyond Boundaries Soccer

Yasmin Atwal is a youth accessibility advocate dedicated to advancing disability inclusion and equitable access to education. She is a Certified Disability Rights and Accessibility Consultant and a Certified Human Rights Consultant, having completed specialized training in accessibility standards and disability rights frameworks.

Yasmin is passionate about giving back to the community through volunteer work. Yasmin has fundraised for the Canadian Music Therapy Fund. She has seen first hand how music therapy for seniors living with dementia and for children and adults with mental and physical disabilities has allowed them to connect and communicate. She has donated adaptive musical instruments to Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital to support children with autism and developmental and physical disabilities. This is Canada’s largest pediatric rehabilitation facility.

Yasmin is also the co-founder of Women Stem Mentorship where she encourages women and girls of any ability to thrive and excel in the world of STEM. Yasmin has received the Global Changemaker in Disability Inclusion and Accessibility Rights Innovation Award.

Dr Rajinder Atwal, M.D., C.C.F.P., F.C.F.P, CEO, Cofounder and Board of Director

Dr Atwal is the driving force behind Bathurst Walk-in-Clinic and Family Practice, serving as its Medical Director, founder, and CEO. This clinic has provided comprehensive care to over 130,000 individuals, with a particular focus on marginalized communities including refugees, immigrants and racialized communities. She founded not one but two non-profit organizations, Covid 24-7 Canada and Covid Kids Canada during the pandemic. Through Covid 24-7 Canada, she offered free advice and treatment options to individuals dealing with Covid and its symptoms, providing vital support during this global crisis. Simultaneously, Covid Kids Canada extended a helping hand to at-risk youth struggling with anxiety, depression, and social isolation due to the pandemic. Dr. Atwal was involved in Covid clinical research trials with the University of Health Network exploring the potential of Peginterferon Lambda as a promising treatment for Covid-19. She has served as a clinical supervisor for the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and has been actively involved in Remicade clinical infusion trials, which treat inflammation associated with conditions like Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, and Rheumatoid Arthritis. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Girls Action Foundation empowering girls, young women and gender diverse youth as agents of social change. Dr. Atwal is also an examiner for the Canadian College of Family Physicians. Lastly, Dr. Atwal is also the founder and CEO of Women STEM Mentorship, a visionary initiative dedicated to empowering and inspiring the next generation of women in STEM fields.
